Magnolia is 18 months old today. She is 27 inches long and is weighing in at a whopping 11lbs 8oz. I feel that is what she weighed in October of last year. Oh wait, it is! Crap!!
Magnolia is long and skinny. Finding clothes to fit her has always been challenging and I assume always will be. We are excited the weather is finally warming up and she is able to wear capris. We did not give away her old pants when she outgrew the length because we figured they would make great capris. Recently, we put her in some 0-3 months pants and we thought they looked pretty cute.

However, after putting her down and letting her roll around and play for a couple of minutes we looked over to see this:

If only we could find some pants with a preemie sized waist and 9 month length we would be set! That sounds like Barbie's measurements to me.
Oh dear we have the same problem with Ellie. She is so long but so skinny in her waist. I too love when we have the warmer weather because Ellie can get away with 'Capri' pants even if they are meant to be full length...

She doesn't seem worried in the least :))) She is in the supermodel club :) but she surely is cute. Denise is still like that. Very frustrating. Try to find some leggings. We have 2 pairs of 6-12 month leggings that make perfect capris now :))

ReplyDeleteI am laughing so hard right now because as I got to the last picture that was Dylan just a few hours ago! He too is very long and skinny! He needs 24 month in length but 9 months is the waist. Oh, how she is growing up. I love to see all the changes and accomplishments. :)
